Clinton Alden Consulting
I help businesses and organizations understand environmental data so they can deliver high-quality products to their clients and make informed decisions.
Practical technical support for projects with environmental data.
Evaluate the quality, limitations, and appropriate use of meteorological and hydrologic datasets. I can help turn a complicated data question into an analysis that is fit for the decision at hand.
Bring focused experience in mountain hydrology, snowpack dynamics, atmospheric rivers, satellite remote sensing, and operational weather forecasting to projects in the Western United States.
Translate environmental science for clients, partners, and public audiences through concise technical material, dashboards, forecast discussions, and science education.
My work connects atmospheric science, hydrology, and the mountain environments where weather and water data are especially consequential. I am a PhD researcher in the University of Washington's Mountain Hydrology Research Group, with degrees in Atmospheric Science and Civil Engineering/Hydrology.
I have forecast winter weather and mountain meteorology for public recreationists and water-resource applications; researched atmospheric rivers and satellite observations at the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes; and built automated weather-model visualizations and real-time dashboards.
A short description of the project, decision, or dataset is enough to begin a conversation.
